Printmaking
The majority of my print works are copper plate etchings (in particular, intaglio or dry point), but I have experimented with other types of printmaking. I love working minimalistically when it comes to color, usually sticking to monotones with a touch of one bright hue, in order to focus more directly on form and content. As in my drawings, line and mass is a favorite subject, whether in the abstract or recognizable form. A favorite process is to add objects to the prints themselves by either printing onto the item or attatching it to the paper directly. This cross between two and three dimensions is my way of clashing two worlds together and building a relationship between them even though they are inaccessable to one another.
